Another Me for the Office | Daily Prompt: Clone Wars

If you could clone yourself, how would you split up your responsibilities?

For someone who wants to resign from work, my answer would be predictable.

My clone would take care of all the stuff that I do at the office. With no exaggeration, I do the work of one and a half people—and that’s on a typical day! By the time I get home, I feel spent. And I still have a bit of workout to do so, by dinner time, I’m ready to sleep. But I can’t since I have my social life (or what passes for it) to take care of.

An office clone would be great!

The duplicate would only be responsible for stuff that happened in and around the office. I have some friends there so, if I relegated all social responsibilities to the real me (who’s not at work), my office ties might suffer. And that doesn’t sound good.

So another me for the office and the office alone. The original me can handle the rest of my life.

we’ve all heard it before. so many things to accomplish and yet so little time. something’s gotta give. my only regret is that i spent a lot of my time in the office because i really love what i do, not just the job, but then again, the other me wants to do a lot of things, other adventures, read a lot of stuffs, try a lot of restaurants. oh well, likereadingontrains might take me on my way, don’t you think? 😉

Well there’s multitasking but–according to some studies–that’s not really recommendable. Something doing the attention span some disservice.
