Too Early to Decide | Daily Prompt: Person of the Year

You’re asked to nominate someone for TIME’s Person of the Year. Who would it be, and why?

Frankly, it’s too early in the year to consider.

There are still a few more months to regard any and all nominees. And with such a considerable amount of time, things could change for the nominees. Their actions now could still spell good or bad within the next quarter or even the last.

It’s even possible that the person I nominate now won’t be the same I think of if I’m asked in September or December.

While, yes, there must time to debate on all the nominees and it’s best to gather such lists early, there is also such a thing as too early. There is just still so much time for any of them to prove themselves even further as to why they are to be—or not to be—on the list of nominees.

      That’s one option. 😀

  2. nobody’s perfect. the person we pick today may be an embarrassment next week, and the one we despise may ultimately get the honor. so why not choose now while we had the chance? 🙂

The most I could do is make a shortlist of nominees but to actually send my nominee–that I can’t do. I believe I’ll ask for a last possible deadline before passing mine.
