Horse- or Carabao- or Cow-Power | Daily Prompt: Trains, Planes, and Automobiles

You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, or car? (Or something else entirely — bike? Hot air balloon?)

I can’t make up my mind about this because I’d love to take them all, including the unusual ones.

Since I live in an archipelagic country, there are a number of ways to get from way point to another. Of course, the king of the Philippine roads is the jeep, followed by other vehicles of the highways like the bus, FX, tricycle, motor bikes, pedicabs, kalesa, and others. Go to the province, the transportation changes with a mere addition of the animals for actual horse- or carabao- or cow-power. And those are the ones on dry land!

Water travel has the reliable large ships but islanders make do with various boats, rafts, and the like.

Air travel, while getting more attention these days for the discounts on the fares, are still expensive when compared to their other counterparts. But, say that they were as cheap—or free for this adventure—I’d take not just the plane but the chopper and what have you.
