Seven Words | Daily Prompt: Seven Wonders

Khalil Gibran once said that people will never understand one another unless language is reduced to seven words. What would your seven words be?

“We shall never understand one another until we reduce the language to seven words.” Kahlil Gibran.

I first read that quote from George Carlin’s book, Braindroppings.

The quote impressed me a lot. I even used it as one of the questions for those applying for a position in the university’s student government. And their answers—while I forgotten—I remember to be interesting. Here are mine

  1. Yes
  2. No
  3. Wait
  4. Friend
  5. Love
  6. I
  7. You
