What is your favorite sweet thing to eat? Bread pudding? Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies? A smooth and creamy piece of cheesecake? Tell us all about the anticipation and delight of eating your favorite dessert. Not into sweets? Tell us all about your weakness for that certain salty snack.
I’m not picky with desserts.
As long as they adhere to kosher rules, I’m good with them. Besides, they’re often the only things that I could be sure of eating at parties, since they rarely use meats and other related products. Friends who know of my limits—and are considerate enough to remember—save those, since they are certain desserts are the safest for me.
Unsurprisingly, it’s also my best bet when I am at a buffet, either for work or pleasure. While I’d love to be sure every single time, buffets don’t always have place cards or nearby chefs or servers who I could ask. So I am left to choose between hunger and sweets.
Yet they wonder why I bounce off the walls after such a sugar rush.
