I’m writing this with 37.8°C. It was higher a few hours ago.
Despite being under the weather worsened by the realization that it’s the Holidays, I am over the moon with what I have achieved in my blog: I blogged 52 times. Every Thursday of every week, I was able to post an article here.
Here’s a little secret from me: blogging does not happen in just one day for me, not with my schedule. So, I prepare the post du jour a day or two before depending on how swamped or available I am. Words first, then photos. If there are photos, of course. Sometimes, I do not have any photos; other times, I have too many. And choosing which ones to include demands quick decisions.
A number of those moments would have never happened if I was not with friends. I am eternally grateful for having them in my life. As for those private moments especially those spent with a book, I am thankful I found and bought them or someone gave them to me.
Before the year closes, two more books are added to my library: A Question of Heroes (Newsprint Edition) by Nick Joaquin and Masters of the Word: How Media Shaped History from Alphabet to the Internet by William J. Bernstein. I cannot wait to dive into them.
One more thing I am glad to have: a reader like you. While blogging is itself a full circle, it is empty if the posts are never read. Thank you for taking the time to read.
it has been my pleasure –
