It helps to listen to your own body.
Of course, your body gets stronger through many ways, one of which is to make it endure certain conditions. There will be accompanying pain. And that could escalate to anguish, which could be survived. But that all depends on how one is well in tune with his body.
Remember: while the mind may be convinced that you could live through this—that there is no such thing as the impossible—the body may have a totally different opinion on it. It’s best to negotiate between the two.
Personally, any illness I suffer, I remedy it myself.
Until the moment that I could not understand what is happening to me or things have gone beyond my control, that is when I seek help. And I am not afraid to say that I too need people for assistance, especially when it’s a physical ailment.
What of these moments of weakness? While, yes, they are opportunities to rise above ourselves and test our very limits, they are reminders of our humanness, that we are not alone, and that we could call for help. It is not wrong to ask for support and comfort.
More often than not, it’s pride that brings people to their deaths.
Ouch, that last bit hurt! I will have to make some serious work or this “asking for help” thing everyone is talking about

This is so true; especially that last bit. It’s unfortunate that, as a society, you’re either labelled as too needy (and always requiring assistance) or alone, though.
Thanks for sharing 🙂

One of the sad parts. We could do without the labels.
